About Us
We Are Leading Oil and Gas Production and Refining In The World
Genco Oil TOO is the largest oil refining and production company in northeastern Kazakhstan. The refinery started operations in 2012 with the aim of processing crude oil from local reserves. It has a total processing capacity of 6.0 million tons of crude oil per year. The company produces a wide variety of petroleum products, including different grades of motor gasoline, diesel fuel, fuel oil (mazut), liquefied petroleum gases, vacuum gas oil, technical sulfur, and various types of bitumen used in construction, road building, and roofing, as well as petroleum coke.
The company operates well-developed utilities and offsite infrastructure, including storage tank farms for raw materials and commodities, liquefied gas facilities, and loading and unloading terminals for transporting petroleum products by rail and road. The refinery also maintains a strong social policy, ensuring proper working, living, and health conditions for employees.
Genco Oil TOO’s current priority is to supply motor fuels that meet ecological standards K4 and K5 in quantities sufficient to meet national demand. The company is also focused on strengthening the refinery’s technical capabilities, extending operational efficiency over a three-year turnaround cycle, and producing Jet A aviation fuel that meets international standards—an entirely new product for the facility.
Its main operations cover hydrocarbon exploration and prospecting, production of oil, gas, and gas condensate, offshore field development projects, as well as refining and the domestic and international sale of oil, gas, and petroleum products.
